On this first day of June I,
- dropped off and picked up Lily from cheer camp
- ate donut holes for breakfast
- hung out with Cathy and her gang for most of the day
- watched my kids play on the slip-n-slide
- remembered that today is the first day of hurricane season (ugh!)
- took a photo on a bench, sort of
- folded bunches of laundry
- didn't make up my bed
- went to a t-ball game
- laughed at Ava's story about a raccoon
- watered my garden and picked a few veggies
- didn't cook one meal :)
- spent this summer day as summer days should be spent
- yep, enjoyed every minute of it!
All this summer-ing means that nothing the least bit crafty or sewing was accomplished, but that's okay, I do have a big shop update planned for this week as well as a new pattern, so stay tuned!!
